Day 1
Arrival Belgrade. Transfer to your 4* hotel. Full-day city tour of Belgrade. You will visit Kalemegdan fortress, Knez Mihajlo Street, Terazije Square, Nikola Tesla Museum, and Memorial Center of Josip Broz Tito. Lunch at the restaurant ? (Question Mark), the oldest restaurant in Belgrade. The Serbian capital is one of the oldest towns in this part of Europe. The remains of its long and turbulent history still exist on a hill overlooking the mouth of two rivers, the Sava and Danube. Dinner and overnight. (L, D)
Day 2
After breakfast, visit the town museum of Sremski Karlovci and the nearby monastery of Krusedol, first founded in 1509. After lunch visit Petrovaradin fortress with a great panoramic view of the city. Continue with the sightseeing of Novi Sad, the economic, political, and cultural capital of Vojvodina Province. Novi Sad lies on a strategic location on a bend in the Danube and retains a Hungarian atmosphere from years of Habsburgs rule. Dinner and overnight at a 4* hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 3
After breakfast, visit the Smederevo fortress on the Danube River, the wooden church Pakajnica, and the monasteries Ravanica (14th century) and Manasija (15th century). Lunch at Moravski Konaci Restaurant. In the afternoon visit Vrnjacka Banja, the best tourist center in Serbia. Dinner and overnight in Vrnjacka Banja. (B, L, D)
Day 4
Morning departure to visit the monasteries of Zica (13th century), Studenica (12th century), and Sopocani (13th century), which are UNESCO heritage sites. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at a 4* hotel in Mt. Zlatibor. (B, L, D)
Day 5
After breakfast visit the wooden town Mecavnik (home of the famous film producer, Emir Kusturica), drive by narrow track train Cira, and visit Open Air Museum Sirogojne. After lunch visit the ethno household Terzica Avlija. Dinner with folklore performance and overnight in this household. (B, L, D)
Day 6
After breakfast drive to the rural household Villa Melody to visit the memorial of the Karadjordjevic dynasty and home of King Petar I in Oplenac. Karadjordje was the leader of the first Serbian uprising against the Turks in 1804 and the founder of the Karadjordjevic Dynasty in Oplenac. Next enjoy wine degustation in the king’s cellar and visits to the church with wonderful icons. Return to Belgrade for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 7
After breakfast transfer to the airport. (B)
