TASTING GREECE – TOUR DESCRIPTION
Tasting Greece from Athens to Kalamata on our new Culinary Experience of Athens and the Peloponnese. Learn to cook in Athens and Kalamata walking through the olive groves and learning about the production of olive oil a key part of the Mediterranean diet. It is said that there are at least 15 million olive trees in this part of Greece called Messinia that are cultivated and nurtured by the sun and the sea.
Enjoy this short Gastronomy tour of Athens and the mainland. Greek cuisine is very regional and varied from Messinia, to Crete to Santorini. And we would love to accommodate you with unique culinary experiences in any region of Greece of your choosing as a peasant interlude as part of your Greek experience.

Day 1: Athens
Arrival Athens for private transfer to the Hotel Amalia. Time to explore the ancient Greek capital. Studies have shown the inhabitants of the Mediterranean have better health and longer life expectancy than other countries. There can be no Mediterranean diet without Greek Cuisine.
Day 2: Athens
In the morning join in on a complete Athens city tour ending at the Acropolis. In the late afternoon join in on a cooking class that includes a full dinner. Amalia hotel
Day 3: Athens – Kalamata 
Morning transfer to one of Greece’s most beautiful coastal towns Kalamata known for its Olive Oil and black Kalamata olives. At 3pm we start our three-hour olive oil grove tour & cooking class with full dinner. 4-star hotel in Kalamata.
Day 4: Return to Athens 
In the morning we continue our culinary exploration of traditional Greek dishes and learn more about olives and olive tasting. In the afternoon we return to Athens to the Hotel Amalia.
Day 5: Depart Athens or Travel on 
We either depart Athens or continue our Greek journey.
